Dear Bobbi, Doris, and Conch-Lers,
It was indeed a great meeting. I want to thank the Astronaut Trail Shell
Club and COA for putting together a very nice Convention. The location in
the Canaveral was also great! Alan Gettleman, thanks for having the Shell
Museum and the other exhibits at the convention center; it was a great idea
and very nice way of exposing the Museum to the participants. We would love
to do it again. Anyway, the convention was a blast, I particularly enjoyed
the launch of the space shuttle "Atlantis", which took place at 5 AM of
July 12. Alan, by having the launch scheduled for the end of our gathering,
you have set very high standards for convention entertainment and side
activities; can you bring the "Atlantis" to Sarasota next year? ;)
Cheers,
José
