Yep. The scallops are "returning" to Tampa Bay. In the last few years, I've
seen dozens in various parts of the Bay and in the adjacent small bays of
Pinellas Co. (St. Petersburg). This is more than I'd seen the previous
twenty years of regular hunting in Tampa Bay.
There is probably a little genetic mixing as the introduced forms are, I
believe, from the Florida panhandle. Probably not too important.
