, where are the best/largest oysters found in the world?"

The "best" oysters for eating depends on where you live!  On the US Eastern
Coast, we claim the oysters from Chincoteague, Virginia are the best.
Oysters from surrounding Maryland and Virginia are held in "floats" in the
back bay until they gain a salty taste; then sold as "Chincoteague Oysters".
