I just had a look at eBay for digital Sony cameras. Only ONE was as
low-priced as those found on www.bizrate.com (and that one was
probably the same dealer as listed by bizrate). The others were up to
$200 more than those found by bizrate.
So... don't bother with eBay if you want a camera! Plus thew risks of
buying from someone who might not send the item...
Having said that, I am not sure whether ANY of the cameras listed are
useful for images of small shells. Nowhere is there minimum focal
distance given... and for shells we really need a camera which will
focus down to zero!
Anyone know of which Sonys of 5Mp resolution can do this? I'm not
interested in other brands; judging by faults listed in dealers' ads
for used cameras, Nikons and Olympuses blow CCD pixels!
Opinions on whether sticks or CDs are better for storage? I haven;'t
seen a camera advertised which can use both.
