I asked if I could use some of the images for possible publication. He sold
his business (I forget who to) and I asked the new person, who declined to
give permission. Of course, he wants to sell his stock. Since Sally's
pictures weren't associated with naming the shells, they were hers and
shouldn't be pirated...

Yes. I did not know who owned the copyright, and am surprised to hear that
there is still, apparently, a substantial stock of these cards for sale.
Dick Petit sold his business to Christopher Garvie [[log in to unmask]], who
should be contacted privately about this.
