Dear Milan and others interested,
To my embarassement I must say that I haven't seen the original description
(yet). To my knowledge the description was published in a rather -in my
opinion- obscure journal "Malacologia - Mostra mondiale - Cupra Marittima",
a magazine without (proper) review. This magazine also published the
description of Lambis cristinae Bozzetti, 1999. [which is, as far as can
judge from published figures and description a hybrid of L. scorpius
indomaris x L. lambis].
I have asked an Italian friend of mine if he could provide me with a copy of
the original description, but hitherto I haven't received it.
When I have been able to study this description, and more preferrably,
specimens identified as L. adamii, I would be glad to share my opinions -and
they are only opinions- with people interested.
Kind regards,
Gijs
