Hi Carlos,
I think the images you sent were from T. philippinarum. It is very similar
to decussatus.
But I agree, these Tapetines are a pain....
Do you have some uncooked tissue from these clams? If you want you could
send it to me in Lysis buffer or ETOH (100%) and I could check the DNA.
Did you get these clams from the fish market or a restaurant?
