My one cent, too. Paper labels are known to last centuries, and good books
millenia. We now have excellent brands that are acid-free,
fungus-resistant, UV-stable, and who knows what more. Is plastic the same?
I like it to store and organize shells, but my labels and catalog are
surely on good paper! Some old labels on low-quality paper are surely
kept, but in the catalog, not with the actual specimen.
Best wishes,
Cristian R. Altaba
