Thanks Paul,
Very nice. I hope all the other institutions follow your lead, and
that you will continue to expand the image database. It will be
especially valuable to have access to the images of the type
specimens.
Cheers,
Don

Subject: Santa Barbara Museum mollusk collection images
The Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History is pleased to announce the
addition of images to our online database. Please see the new photographic
additions at:
http://www.sbcollections.org
Currently the 600+ images are primarily of marine bivalves and land
gastropods, but we will add to the images dataset on a regular basis. All
images are copyrighted, but permission to use them might be available if a
written request is sent to the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History.
Our entire dataset is now over 30,000 records, which represents
approximately 10% of our total holdings.
Enjoy!
Paul
