According to Poppe & Goto (1992):
Fulgoraria prevostiana (Crosse, 1878)
Range: From Hokkaido south to Sagami Bay, Japan.
Habitat: Lives on sandy bottoms between 50 and 720m deep.
There are tree forms namely magna, salebrosa and elongata.

Cute volutes indeed!
