I am sorry to hear of Roland's passing. He was a wonderful individual. I
always looked forward to seeing him at meetings and catching up on things.
He had a genteel presence about him.

His research involved the cephalopods  and I would highly recommend his
book "Octopus, The Ocean's Intelligent Invertebrates" (co-authored with J.
Mather and JB Wood).
