Dear Em,
Dr. Ed Petuch, in his book New Caribbean Molluscan Faunas (1987), has named
Muricantharus harasewychi (page 16-17, plate 2, figures 3-4, plate 4,
figure 14), from 150 m off Apalachicola and 70 m off Marquesas Keys,
Florida. Any chance this might be the name/species you are looking for?
