Hi Rafael,
I'm not aware of any true Oliva named acuminata. However, Agaronia acuminata
is much more "Oliva-shaped" than most Agaronia species. It doesn't have the
flaring lip and wide aperture that most Agaronia species have. It is quite
slender, heavy, and glossy, and really does look a lot like an Oliva. The
size, shape, and weight remind me of Oliva sayana from Florida. So, I suspect
that your Oliva acuminata might be a small Agaronia acuminata. If you find
out anything more, please let us know.
