Thanks Andrew, your explanation of the red cyp has solved the riddle of my
pair of cyp stolida,which are a beautiful bright pink with RED blotches
which were found on an old ww2 japan wreck off Kwajalein, I realise these
shells enjoy subspecie names, but the vast majority of these cyp are found
on wrecks which makes one wonder.
