A lot of the Turridae we get in Hawaii (see E. A. Kay's Hawaiian Marine
Shells) I have found in many Pacific island groups, particularly our
larger ones. The micros may not be as well known and not found in most
books, but Chang who has been having a series on Turridae in IHSN has
illustrated a number (maybe 30%) of the small Turrids that are also
found in Hawaii.
