We got very luck. The worst of the storm was to the northeast over the Atlantic. Here on Merrit
Island we only got about 4 inches of rain and winds well below hurricane strength. Lots of debris,
but no damage. I've been cleaning up all day and will being doing so for the next week. I had only
just finished cleaning up after Hurricane Floyd. (I've got about 90 palm trees, a dozen pines and
10 oaks. That adds up to a lot of debris.)
