finches great , several juvenile gouldian lady finches (elvis and elton)
are getting adult plumage . it's fun to see what color they get . some
retain the adult colors , red head w/ black outline yellow breast, blue
tail, green back , but others get weird combos, blue head , lighter shades
of blue scattered with orange , they have even breed all the color out of on
strain so it's cream colored , sort of like swapping a sony trinatron for a
GE black and white from the 40's (1840's, they did have TV back then didn't
they Art). As for the shells , i think they are what commonly are called
"rough scallops " ,,,i let a friend barrow my shell books (probably never
see them again , you know how that barrow thing goes) so i can't reference ,
unless someone has a caribbean shells website that has images (thanks but
the check off list didn't have images , i looked ) all the best , sorry that
this is sort of NSR, but there are a few others out there that like finches
in shell land . ferret
