Never said i took them live . all three came from Jose poorio, a fishing
village east of Colon, the area in front of the honchos water side thatched
roof house was littered with empty shells , most had the whole in the spire
but these didn't and they are dang near perfect. one will be in the GMSC's
silent auction at the y2k shell show along with a large bag of fresh frozen
mud from the dredge (not picked over , anyones guess what micros are in it )
a peruvinaus, conus dalli, a typhus , a very sharp spined radix murex
(probably nigrita) that i cut my finger on pulling it from a crevice in a
rock, plus a few other things that we brought back. I assure you Dennis
that i would not take live gigas no matter what , i respect the CITIES list
. thanks for pointing that out..... ferret
