THANKS. THANKS, THANKS For the kind replys about the tonna egg case. I have
some pictures of some tonna galea from the Med. with a egg case.My problem
was that I did not know if the egg case belonged to them or if they were
having lunch on someone elses eggs. MR.Raimondo Villa sent a letter stating
that it looks like a ribbon about 10cm thick. Mrs.Vicky Wall Sent a letter
stating that in Bea Winters Book says the case is 135mm long 62mm wide and
1.8mm thick. Mr George Wolf wants a pic if I get one. As soon as I can get
some copies George. The pictures I have show the case to be about 5 times as
long as the shell and about the same width as the shell and about 1 inch
thick. One tonna is covered by the case Except it has its foot and about a
inch of shell showing. The other tonna seems to be on top of the case and has
its foot touching the other tonna and the case does look like a ribbon waving
in the water. Pictures were taken by George Sangiouloglou near his home in
Greece and he says the egg case is transparent and in the pictures the eggs
are black like bull frog eggs. George I want to thank you for the
pictures and I am pretty sure we have large tonna doing there thing. Glenn
Houston Texas.
