----------
I'm new to the group, and as requested I'm sending around this message to
introduce myself.

I am interested in land and freshwater Molluscan distribution, biology and
conservation. I would be grateful for any records from Ireland, or to
contact others with particular interests in Margaritifera or Vertigo
species. Anything else snaily is also of interest as well.

While I'm here can I pose a question? Is there any list of pesticides /
chemicals known to damage Mollusca? Or is there a safe list of fertilisers
and broad spectrum pesticides that don't harm Molluscs? Either would be of
great use in conservation management.

Many thanks,

Evelyn Moorkens.
