Hello George:

Well you have picked a marvelous destination this time.  Yes the major city
on the Island of PHU Qqoc is the An Thoi.  An Thoi sits on the souther end
of the Island and is itseld not too good for shelling.  It gained notority
during the Vietnam War as the Largest POW Camp that the Americans had for
Holding North Viet  Nam POW's we had over (58,000) at one time.  I Know
because I was stationed their during the Vietnam War.

As for shelling.  There are several Islands south of An Thoi,  About 26 or
so and the water around them are crystal clear with numerous reefs,  Giant
Clams are in abundance.  If you like I would draw you some maps that would
point to you some areas that I collected in 30 Years ago.  All are within
eight miles and the closest being 200 Yards off the south Coast.
