Thanks Paul, and a host of others who Turrided me - i am red with embarrasment!!
BOTH cones on close examination, turn out to be ermineus - it is an
incredibly varies species!

The Trophon (http://geocities.com/conchlimages/) remains a mystery - not
a peep on that one. Come on all you Muricid "advanced collectors" out there!!
