I'm not certain why this wasn't passed on to the list at large, but
since i just recieved an enquiry about it from a friend, i guess it wasn't.

The reason posts to the list are answered by an autoresonder saying the
message has been forwarded to a "list moderator" (one of the 4 Lambis
Group members who do a jolly brave job of taking care of Conch-l!) is
because the list is temporarily being moderated, until a decision on
what steps should be taken to "keep the peace" on a long-term basis:
nobody is being singled out for "observation", so if anyone is feeling
paranoid out there in Conchland, don't worry, be happy!

Of course, since this message will be pre-viewed by our temporary "big
brothers and sisters", you may never see it - but if you DO, it will be
a Good Sign that there are no secrets around here!!
