Well said, indeed.
 
However, we, too, are allowed to learn from the miskates of others.
Whoever this person is may have served his legal punishment but
the deed was not foisted upon the legal system, it was done unto
shellers. And it is among shellers that this person, unknown to me,
wishes to 'practice' his 'trade' again. Until absolved by those
who have and might, (repeat, MIGHT) be victimized again, this
doer-of dastardly-deeds will, understandably, be eyed with
apprehension and suspicion.
 
Yes, we must strive to bring our humane nature to the fore but
we are not required to saps. It seems Sneidly Whiplash will have
to not simply turn over a new leaf, but grow a new one altogether.
 
So, yes!, let's be humane, but cautious, too.
