Dear Friends,

I have recently acquired a beautiful specimen of Cypraea maculifera with
the following data:

Cypraea maculifera
subspecies being named
Found at night on rocks and rubble, 5-10 meters,
Taiohae Bay, Nuku Hiva, Marquesas; Oct 2000
61.8 mm

Kindly Dr. Lorenz has verified for me that this Marquesas C. maculifera is
indeed a new subspecies being named but he was unclear as to who was doing
this work.   Does anyone out there in the community know who is naming this
new find?   I would love to have contact information for this person/s.
