Dear Henk,
can you please name the paper where this new Strombidae systematics was
published, or where it is referenced in a shell guide?
It seems obvious to me, that e. g. Strombus gigas, S. pugilis and "Strombus"
gibberulus belong to seperate genera, especially if you look at Cypraeidae,
where quite similar shells are even classed in separate subfamilies nowadays.
