Paperboard Boxes...

Just to address such issues, many manufacturers of paperboard boxes now
offer them in acid free versions, they also offer them with an exterior PVC
jacket/covering.

You will need to inquire about the specifics from the manufacturer.

Cotton is also not acid free and as such poly-fill quilting can be
substituted.
Cotton also produces lint, which with a little static, will stick to the top
of the clear lid.
