Hello Ellen,

I'm new in the Conch-L (only just suscribed), but not new in the shell
world.
If your family can get a hold of some nerita, and throw tham in a bottle of
strong, colorless alcohol, I know quite a few people who will be very
interested in them.
Nerites can be found on rocks at low tide, so that shouldn't be too
difficult, even for archeologists.

Hope this helps,

Chris
