Hi, Conch-L!

Well, I think I may have a handle on the Pteria that I've been trying to i.d., and Peggy Williams mentioned what I think may be thre same.   Pteria longisquamosa - mine is only an inch and doesn't have "spines" as long as the picture iin the Compendium.   However, it is quite fragile, so it may be a young specimen.   MY QUESTION IS:  can this shell be a bright spring green?   Mine is.
