My queries about the gold-seller was not an enquiry about an "investment
opportunity" (there are plenty of those in the Shell World, if one has
capital!!).  i was just wondering why this particular "person" chose to
send his appeal primarily to conchologists.  i guess it is a fact of
cyber-life that one's email address is readily available to almost
anybody: it is actually a wonder that we don't all spend half the day
deleting spams!!
