Dear Dr. Jansen:
We are currently completing the molecular sequencing of both the
Atlantic and Pacific eel grass limpets currently referred to as alveus
and parallela, respectively. Our preliminary results indicate alveus and
parallela are not sister taxa, but to go into further detail at this
time would compromise the dissertation work being performed by my
graduate student, Emina Begovic. We hope to have a manuscript detailing
this work ready for publication by the end of the year.
Best, David

In other words, he isn't saying anything either, but the good news is that
the problem is being worked on. I'll try to stay up-to-date with this one

regards

Patty
