Even though the site below had the gaul to tell me my computer wasn't
good enough to display the photo in question, i think it probably is the
same wide mouth "grin" that seems to occur most often on the east coast
of Africa, in a variety of cowrie species (although i've seen it from
the Philippines as well).   So far, i've seen it in tigris, moneta,
caurica, lynx, erosa and a couple of others - i think it may have an
environmental rather than a genetic cause - or it might just be mother
nature telling us not to take things so seriously!!
