Here is what is wrong with that idea.  Ed is keeping all of the proceeds
for himself.  Regardless of where the auction is held, it will mean any
money spent there is not spent at COA.  That means less money for the COA
convention and scholarship fund.  Ed is participating in the bourse at
COA, but I don't understand how, since dealers at the bourse are supposed
to be COA members, and, unless I am mistaken, Ed isn't a member of COA.
 
Now if Ed wanted to donate Len's collection to COA that would be a
different story.
