Dear Tom,

For the problem concerning the identity, lectotype and invalid neotype
selection of Cyclostoma obscurum I refer to:
Falkner, G., Ripken, Th.E.J. & Falkner, M., 2002. Mollusques continentaux de
France Liste de reference annotee et Bibliographie.Patrimoines naturels, 52:
350 p.

the species is dealt with on pp. 65-67. The original description was given
by:
Draparnaud, 1805: 39, plt. 1, fig. 13.
If you are interested I can make a copy of the discussion concerning that
