Does anyone know whether anyone has done anatomical or molecular work
on Dolicholatirus?

It seems to me that it may belong in Turbinellidae, rather than
Buccinidae: Fasciolariinae.

I ask because of the fossil & Recent NZ species incorrectly placed in
Pleia, a monotypic Australian genus (which I suspect is a turbinellid
also). These NZ shells I think should be placed in Dolicholatirus;
paleomalacologist Phil Maxwell agreed when i suggested this placement.
