Regarding that inimitable "perfume" that accompanies shell
collecting, two people in our club are using pine oil
(available at janitorial supply houses) to get rid of the
odor in the shells.  But then, one is faced with the
containers, often the trunk of the car, I shall have to
try the Fabrese and the vanilla extract.
