Hi shell-folks,

some times ago, I received some shells of a scallop (Pectenidae) from
the coast of Brazil, it was found on a beach near Recife, Pernambuco.
The size of the greatest specimen is about 6cm in breadth. It is as
broad as wide and bears 10 ribs, all the shell bears many radiating
thread-like riblets.
Has anyone an idea which species this might be or if there is
literature on this theme ?

Thanks in advance for your help !

Cheers, Andreas
