As I read through the "great book of cones "
(Manual of Living Conidae) I found references to Lamarck's discussion of
fossil conus. Recently I found this same subject referred to in a
publication by da Motta. My question is " Where can I find a copy or
reproduction of these coveted papers?"and "does anyone ouit there know where
to find fossil conus for study?"
Thank you for your time on this matter and may you fourth of July be full of
great times and good people, Mark James Bethke
