A Japanese researcher is looking for ethanol-preserved material for a few species from the Western Atlantic. If anyone can collect any of these, I will mail them on to him (or give you his address, whichever you like). They need to be preserved in at least 75% ethanol, preferably stronger. For mailing, it works to wrap a well-preserved specimen in ethanol-soaked paper towels and put that into a sealed container, instead of trying to mail a container of liquid ethanol.

Species needed:

Ostrea equestris
Dendostrea frons
Cryptostrea permollis
Batillaria minima (should not be hard to find!)

(I think other ostreid and batillarids would probably interest him, too, but these are what he asked for.)
Thanks!
