Please, let's keep the politics and religion off the List. It's all we can
do to maintain civility in the American workplace these days. To the French
and the rest of the world I can only say, remember, we in the US are a
diverse bunch. One American's opinion is not the whole story.
On the subject of storm-thrown shells. I can find far more species by
banging the dead shells into a bucket and then sieving the debris knocked
loose. There are hundreds of tiny species clinging to all that deeper water
fauna and trash that's ended up on the Florida shores. Harry is familiar
with most of them.
