If you would like an idea of what may be found in Florida (marine
molluscan fauna wise) you might want to check out the Jacksonville
Shell Club's Checklists for both Cedar Key (the west coast of Florida)
and Peanut Island (the east coast of Florida). Land and freshwater
lists for northeast Florida are also available.
 
These checklists are updated on a regular basis - for new finds,
identification of previous finds, and taxonomic changes as a result
of new information.
