Folks,

Today I looked at a closed zip-lock of shells I took on Key Biscayne on
Labor Day weekend when flights were delayed due to the hurricanes. I
glimpsed some flesh in there. Sure enough, there's a live juvenile
Cenchritis muricatus.

Not TOO surprising but it has been in a closed bag in the dark for 7
months.

If I had been in its position, I would have chewed a hole in the bag
from sheer hunger (and boredom?).
