To: Conchologists List <[log in to unmask]>

Hello.
My name's Alejandro, and I work with Mollusca (mainly Prosobranchia) and Polychaeta at La Laguna University.
We don't follow Talavera's book because I agree with you about Nordsieck's Cerithium nomenclature. I agree with Gofas article.
We have just done a study about intertidal mollusca from Fuerteventura, and we have identified every small Cerithium as C. lividulum, which is recorded from Canary Islands in Gofas' article, in spite of as he says, the conspecificity of the macaronesian populations in relation to Mediterranean ones needs to be confirmed.
We are preparing a paper about our study, and I would like to confirm our specifications. We I get more information, I will tell you, if you are interesting.
Best regards,

Alejandro Martínez
