The Philadelphia Shell Club has reserved a block of rooms for the Philadelphia Shell Show weekend (October 7-8) at the Windsor Suites, which is one block from the Academy of Natural Sciences in downtown Philadelphia. These are studio suites, and are offered at a special rate of $149 per night plus taxes for single or double occupancy. Call 1-877-784-8379 and ask for the 'Philadelphia Shell Show block'. Hotel accomodation near the Academy is always a little tight on that weekend, as there is usually a large convention in town, so you are encouraged to book in good time. A good alternative near the Academy for folks on a budget is:
