Carlos,

My set-up is a Fuji S1 body on a bellows unit with reversed Nikon lenses (35 and 50mm). The Fuji cost me $1000 in 2002; the cost may be less now. I can get good results with micros ranging from 0.5 to about 7mm.

I usually put larger micros on a scanner on high resolution. Can't get much cheaper than that.
