  I can't help much with Maui but if you contact the following folks,
they'll take care of all your diving and shelling needs in Oahu and maybe
put you in touch with a good outfit in Maui.

page at hawaiian-divers.com They have shops in Oahu and Kona (on the big
island).  I dove with them several times just last week and did shelling on
every dive.  They're a great couple (Bob and AnnMarie Hofelich) and will do
right by you.

My wife and I are planning a trip to Maui and Oahu Hawaii soon and are
open to any suggestions as to where to dive or snorkel for shells. If
