Dear Ross,

I just received the specimen of "Miralda" terryi (Olsson & McGinty) from
the Academy. They are very similar, but clearly separate species. The
Sanibel specimen is fatter (higher ratio width/length), has a wider
subsutural shelf, and has about half the number of axial ribs per whorl.
Question now is: do you have the other specimen (Gary Coovert's)? Could you
send it to me for measurements, rib counts, etc.? do you think that he
would be opposed to the idea of including his material as part of the
type-series (paratype 1)?

Have a good weekend!

Jose
