Dear Martin,
 
it depents not on this if Celina is feminine, but its depents on
the grammatical genus of Murex or the other genus where it is
in. Murex should be maculin or neutrum, but I feel that you
want give me another question. Maybei that why another Murex
is called brevispina. This is so while spina is a substantive and
not used as an adjective. There maybe some other samples.
