I fully agree with you. I've never seen similarities in mus and stercoraria.
Also small stercoraria are looking as the large ones. There might
only be broader and slender ones.
Cpraea mus is really different, broader. The teeth in the base a very
different. Cypraea mus is really more similar to Cypraea teulerei
and fultoni. As we have Cypraea mus and their pustulated form and
teulerei in the museums collection I ordered now a cheap fultoni
to compare them. Maybe a Cypraea arabicula is more similar to
a small Cypraea stercoraria than a Cypraea mus.
