I received a shell with the following on the label
49-4
This was a reference to T. Kira's Shells of the Western Pacific, english
edition.
 
If anyone has this volume handy, could you look at page 49 and plate 49
and let me know what species this refers to.  It is a member of the
Pectinidae and should be a Chlamys or Mimachlamys; prob. either C(M).
senatoria or nobilis or crassicostata.
